Our department head, Dr. Mitchell Bitter is a well-published, nationally recognized hematopathologist. Dr. Bitter was Professor of Pathology, and Director of Hematopathology and the Clinical Hematology Laboratory at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, where he continues as Clinical Professor of Pathology. He was also previously Assistant Professor of Pathology as well as Assistant Director of Hematopathology at the University of Chicago Medical Center.
