Our Laboratory
Eastern Carolina Pathology operates a modern laboratory located in a 6,000 square foot facility in Wilson, North Carolina and the campuses of area hospitals.
Our laboratory is staffed with a highly-trained, dedicated team of laboratory personnel that takes pride in their work and are committed to quality and client service. We consider the prompt and accurate handling of biopsies, Pap smears, and other patient specimens as one of the foundations of our operation. We incorporate extensive quality control and quality assurance at all phases of specimen processing, with a dedicated quality control and assurance team.
Eastern Carolina Pathology carefully adheres to the College of American Pathologists (CAP) laboratory accreditation standards, and is licensed under Federal CLIA guidelines and North Carolina statutes.
